  2. I believe the purposes crimanal justice system should be to protect and serve the citzens of our country and punish and rehab the offenders with a fair second chance .i also believe the system should be more fair.In my opinion the system is very unfair. For ex: When u have a public defender appointed to you because you can not afford a lawyer u get the bad end of the deal but if u can afford a good lawyer you will almost certainly get a better deal.

  3. In my opinion, the criminal justice system should protect all citizens. When a crime is committed, they should be the ones to investigate the crime, find the offender, take the offender to trial, and if found guilty, reprimand the offender by whatever means are stated by law. They should have little or no presence in people's lives other than for that purpose. The only other purpose of the criminal justice system is to deter the non-offending public until the point a crime is committed.

  4. The purpose of the criminal justice system should be to have complete justice all around. This includes protecting the innocent people, enforcing the laws, and to punish the people who violate the laws by limiting their freedom and putting them in a rehabilitation program. The criminal justice system should strive to create a safe environment and to lower the crime rate.

  5. The purpose of the criminal justice system it to protect and maintain order within a community as well as enforcing the law. The criminal justice system should as well and always treat a suspect innocent till proven guilty, help carry out and enforce the sentence of a guilty party. They should as well make sure that the victims are not forgotten to help give the victim a sense of peace and dignity. Their purpose is to fully investigate all crimes, apprehend suspects and punish the guilty fairly for the crime that they have commited

  6. I believe that the purpose of the criminal justice system is to provide justice for all citizens while letting their presence be known and being involved with the citizens they are protecting. This is done by enforcing the laws, recognizing crime and convicting the criminals while protecting the innocent. The laws should be enforced equally and fairly and the rights of the people should be protected under any circumstances.

  7. I believe that the purpose of the criminal justice system is to protect the rights of people in our community by enforcing the laws when needed. Everyone should be treated fair and also with equal oppurtunities to prove themself. This also means that everyone is innocent until proven guilty even if the crime they committed was serious enough, such as a murder. Everyone should have a fair trial even under any circumstance.

  8. I think the purpose of criminal justice should be to keep our societies safe. I believe officers should crack down on drugs, alcohol, and murders. The three of those crimes do not just affect one person; they affect a majority of our society. When the number of drug and alcohol abusers rise, that is when all the other crime rates have an increase.
When it comes to punishment for a criminal, I believe it needs to become harsher. When arrested I believe criminals should be held to great amount of punishment because it is more likely they will learn from their own mistake. Never once should a murderer be out of jail less than 15 years or even I believe in bringing back the death penalty.
Criminal justice employees may seem like they don't do much, but when you are in their shoes they are trying their best to keep you and your family safe!

  9. I believe that the purpose of the criminal justice system should be protect the citizens, bring justice and attempt to "correct" the minds of the criminals. What I mean by this is have the corrections part of the system work differentltly. By working with the convicts and tracking thier progress, and if no progress is made they should not be released.

  10. I believe that the purpose of the criminal justice system is to deliver justice, this can be done by convicting and punishing those who are guilty of crimes and helping to change their morality and stop offending. While in addition, protecting the innocent. The criminal justice system is responsible for recognizing crime and bringing it to justice; and also carrying out the orders of court.

  12. I believe that the criminal justice system is put in place to prevent crime. And if someone chooses not to follow the system and to break the laws in any form of a crime the criminal justice system is there to punish their acts.

  13. I believe the criminal justice system was put in place because we need a good system to prevent crime. We need to punish the people who break these crimes and they deserve to be punished. With this justice system put in place we can try to prevent crime before it starts.

  14. In my opinion I think it should be fair to everyone. I also think that the criminal justice system should try to help them out after they get out of jail, because when they get out they do the same crime over again. Sorry its a little bit late.

  15. I believe that the criminal justice system should do everything in its power to protect the rights of the citizens of the United States. When someone does something illegal they should have to pay for their crime in a way that is equal to the severity of their crime. Once their debt has been paid the system needs to help them in a constructive way to become a law abiding citizen.
